VOIPSWITCH CONFIG

VoipSwitch Config is a graphic tool that allows administering the whole platform. Using this application VoipSwitch’s system parameters can be set, billing can be managed, routing configured and statistical data analyzed.
Key functions:

1.      Managing accounts of the users who utilize particular services

  • Setting up accounts, blocking accounts, setting limits

  • Creating users group and managing the lots

  • Managing payments

  • Checking current account status and payments balance

  • Setting the properties of the account – pre-paid, limited credit

  • Assigning the tariffs

  • Establishing the properties of connections, controlling the incoming telephone numbers from the particular client, creating virtual prefixes

2.     Creating and managing the tariffs

  • Possibility of creating unlimited number of tariffs

  • Assigning particular tariff to the given user or group of users

  • Setting the properties for each tariff i.e. billing step, minimal duration, surcharge

  • Establishing time span for each destination in the tariff

  • Possibility of blocking any prefix or the telephone number in the tariff (connections for the particular number are rejected)

  • Possibility of importing data from CSV file

  • Filters that facilitate accessing desired data

3.      Creating dialing plan

  • Defining routing i.e. describing where to and how to direct the traffic coming from the clients to the particular phone number

  • Possibility of adding unlimited number of records to the dialing plan menu, creating the complex routing structure that enables directing incoming telephone traffic to the various gateways and gatekeepers

  • Possibility of setting the various properties for the various records

  • Possibility of setting various types of proxy for particular record

  • Modification of the telephone numbers coming out of the switch

  • Mapping the phone numbers to the users logged to the gatekeeper or SIP registrar

  • Dynamic transfer of the connection to the spare gateway in case of the failure of the main route, setting gateways’ priorities for the given prefix, detecting and describing the types or errors that cause calls to be transferred

4.      Traffic information

  • The list of the calls made

  • Detailed information on the duration of the call, cost, name of the client, route, the connection utilized and other useful information.

  • Set of the filters that allow to obtain the list of calls corresponding to the desired parameters

  • Exporting data to the file of csc, xls, html, or xml formats

  • Presenting the information on the total cost of all calls, average cost of a call, total cost of all calls and average time of a call

  • The list of unsuccessful calls

  • Detailed information on errors and the reasons calls were not carried out

  • Traffic’s statistical data: ASR, ACD, longest, shortest, medium duration

  • Set of filters

  • Reports illustrating the volume of sale for the set period of time

5.      Managing the payments

  • Detailed information on the clients’ balance

  • The history of payments
